Zaton

Zaton is located at the border of Norther and Southern Adriatic. On it's two coves, mostly green lagoon, covered with pine forest and mild dalmatian climate. Zaton has a rich history: church st. Jandrija 10th century, church st. Nicholas 11th century, Venetian patrol citadel, Venetian harbour for old croatian town Nin. Zaton is situated 2 km south of Nin and 13 km north of Zadar.
